In Texas in 1st grade, I was introduced to the band next door….The Zodiacs….I fell in love with a performance they gave at the Sears and Roebucks one Saturday afternoon. The band would wear matching outfits on Fridays to School. The band was in the 7th grade and I would stare out the widow down on the playground and see the band together with their black pants, red and white poki-dots shirts, black Beatles sunglasses, long black hair. WOW

I soon formed my own band on the front porch playing to the cars driving by . My getup was an English hat, Beatles glasses. I fell in love with James Brown….
